(The chapter opens with Blackheart and arthor with the rest of the villagers in the town hall. )
Arthor: (hears the explosions outside that shake the building) I should be out there.
Blackheart: your not serious are you?
Arthor: (looks back with a serious look)
Blackheart: It's the legions job to fight like this, not yours.
Arthor: They took karri!, I know im young but I can fight! and tenebris is out there, it's not just the legions.
Blackheart: tenebris is different, he has been in these kind of fights before.
Arthor: I just don't understand why I have gone through so much just to be sat on the sideline. Even that dumb pink haired girl is fighting. while im here doing nothing.
Blackheart: why do you want to fight so bad? You have people putting themselves on the line so that you can stay safe. why risk wasting that?
Arthor: Because...
Blackheart: because why?
Arthor: because I don't want to loose anyone else! (his eyes glowing dark blue)
Blackheart: (surprised)
Arthor: I've already lost so much...I just... I don't want to feel that pain again. So if it means I'll fight some crazy strong pirate captains, or some Legionaries with magic powers I don't care, because I'll fight so that I don't have to feel the pain of loosing another person close.
Blackheart: (looks at the pictures of her sons in the legions then looks back at arthor with his eyes glowing dark blue)
(cut to Tenebris on the frontlines)
Corvis: HAHAHA...Oh It's been a while since I've had to release my seals, so I guess I should thank you.
Tenebris: no problem (charges at Corvis and disappears and reappears next to him and tries to punch him but his fist stops before making contact) what?
Corvis: (punches tenebris back into the water) I'm sorry to say but this fight is over. (he flies over to the spot tenebris fell into the water and four spirits burst out of the water surrounding him but he dodges all of them and tenebris flies out of water and goes to hit Corvis but senses something and dodges as a bullet flies past him. Cepheus eye lights up and he pulls his hand back and the bullet glows and flies right back at tenebris who has a spirit catch it while he attacks Corvis again but cant land a hit until he throws a punch with his bandaged arm that almost hits corvis but he dodges instead of counter attacking.)
Corvis: (thinking) Just as I though, I guess no matter what the power level it is, that arm of his negates Orku and its abilities. my orku was absorbed after I made contact with him. My gravity field had no effect when he used his right arm either. this is going to be difficult, especially with my shoulder. im going to have to finish this before that legionary gets involved (aloud) That dark power you have is quite troublesome.
Tenebris: your telling me.
Corvis: Listen, I'll give you one last chance to hand over the power and I'll let everyone here live.
Tenebris: If I could get rid of this energy I would, but unfortunately its kinda apart of my arm.
Corvis: then ill just have to take your arm then. (talking while fighting)
Tenebris: tell me what you did with karri!?
Corvis: I don't believe I know who this Karri is.
Tenebris: you should he's the one who did that to your shoulder.
Corvis: Ah now I remember, what makes you think he's in our possession?
Tenebris: fine if you wont tell me then I'll just have to beat it out of you. (teleports and goes to hit him with his bandaged arm but corvis anticipates it and slashes at him but a spirit stops the sword so Tenebris lands a clean hit, but corvis shoots at tenebris who barely dodges. Corvis sends a gravity blast through his sword to destroy the spirit and starts swinging wildly at tenebris who dodges most of the attacks. corvis shoots at tenebris who has a spirit catch the bullet but corvis stabs through the spirit and cuts tenebris face which heals after his eyes flash black and he staggers a bit, which gives corvis an opportunity to kick him but tenebris catches his foot and has all the spirits jump on top of corvis whose eyes turn blaze red and he releases a gravity burst of orku that destroys the spirits and sends tenebris back onto the main land. )
Tenebris: AGH!
(cut to magi's fight with Orion and Leo, where she goes to attack Orion but gets hit by Leo's orku blast and it knocks one of her axes out of her hand. Orion goes to slam down on her but she rolls and he cracks the ground a bit as she rolls she picks up her axe and throws it at Leo who is off balance from the floor rumbling and it cuts his arm as he tries to dodge and it gets lodged into a building behind him
Leo: what the heck was that Orion! (holding his shoulder that's bleeding)
Orion: shut up, its just a scratch (he charges and swings at magi who dodges between his legs as yellow energy sparks below her feet that turns into fire and she jumps above Orion and kicks him in the back of the head with a burst of fire which burns his neck a little but he doesn't flinch as he looks up with his eyes glowing red he grabs her by the throat, her eyes light up and Orion's hand starts burning and he drops her) AGGHH! (she kicks his knee and he falls to one knee and she knees him in the face and Orion gets sent back onto the ground)
Leo: Big man! (his energy turns from yellow to red and he starts sending massive blast of energy, but Magi dodges all of them and cuts through a couple with her axe while running straight at Leo) (thinking) has she gotten faster? she definitely wasn't moving this fast before, but she hasn't released her seals yet. (she flies in and swings at Leo who dodges and throws a fury of strikes each landing with a spark of orku, but magi blacks each and hits him in the stomach with the end hilt of the axe and uppercuts him sending him back)
Magi: huh huh huh, (staggers a bit and her eyes stop glowing) (thinking) My body temperatures almost at 105 degrees, its a good thing I defeated them quickly. any longer and I don't think my body could handle it. (aloud) I need to cool off. (she senses something and looks behind her and Orion is there with his eyes, belt and gloves glowing violently as he throws a massive punch that magi tries blocking with her axe but gets sent flying closer to Sol and Vela)
Leo: (on the ground) Took ya long enough.
Orion: (spits blood on the ground) Shut up.
(cut to Vela and Sol fighting. Sol tries to punch Vela in the face but she doges barely but Sol's eyes flash pink and her fist lights up blinding Vela. Sol grabs Vela's arm and pulls her into a clothesline with her elbow sending her to the ground, she tries to handcuff Vela and sees tenebris and Magi get sent flying back near her. Corvis tries to cut her but she dodges and blinds him and disappears and uncloaks next to the others and helps them up)
Sol: are you guys alright?
Tenebris: never better(said through pained groans)
Magi: These guys are tougher than I thought...
Sol: Especially when you take on two at the same time!
Magi: they got a Lucky shot is all.
(they get up as the dead stars get up)
Magi: Round two.
Tenebris: we got them right where we want them, corvis wont be able to use his Terrain with his crew around him.
Sol: I cant use mine either yet, theirs still legionaries fighting or retreating to the town hall, they'd get caught in its field along with you guys.
Tenebris: that's alright, we can take them without it. lets go (his rings light up and the spirits appear. )
Magi: I was going to ask about that...
Tenebris: Don't.
Sol: (grabs her mask) lets go.
(tenebris and magi charges at the pirates who charge back)
Sol: lets finish this
Corvis: I was thinking the same thing
(Sol goes to put her mask on but senses something and looks back to see arthor running to the battle field and she hesitates to put her mask on) Kid what are you doing here!?
(everyone goes to clash)
Corvis: (puts his hands on the ground)
Cepheus: captain wait!
Corvis: ENDA ALLT (dark red energy envelopes the surrounding area)
CHAPTER 31 BATTLE OF BARROK
(The chapter opens immediately where the last left off)
Corvis: ENDA ALLT!
Tenebris: (thinking) What!? he still gonna do it!?
Sol: (thinking) im too late!
Cepheus: (thinking) what is he doing!?
Vela: (thinking) does he not know we're in its range!?
Corvis: Fall! ( everyone is crushed to the ground all around him with tremendous force. sol's eyes glow and arthor and magi glow pink as they drop to the ground. Sol drops her mask on the ground, Cepheus looses his gun. )
Cepheus: (on the ground) what are you doing!?
Corvis: taking what's mine. (starts walking over to the tenebris) This is my gift, the dead star, I condense the Orku in the area to create a gravity field 100 times the strength of earths.
Tenebris: (tries to get up but cant)
Corvis: not even royal knights can withstand this power. (bends down to tenebris) so what do you think your going to do? (stabs him in the shoulder)
Tenebris: AGGHH...
Corvis: So now you know how I feel. (cuts his bandages off)
Tenebris: NO! (his eyes start glowing and the spirits appear but get crushed and disappear. )
Alex: (to tenebris) the fields to dense for our spirits to form.
Corvis: Finally, after 6 years I've finally found the black energy (grabs his arm and tenebris screams in pain as his eyes darken.)
Corvis: AGHHHH!
Arthor: Tenebris!
Magi: Tenebris!
Sol: Get away from him! (here eyes glow violent pink and she tries to stand up and actually starts to. but corvis eyes glow and Sol gets crushed even harder)
Corvis: Give me its power! (the dark energy starts crawling up his arm and his eyes turn black and his shoulder heals)
(tenebris blacks out, and his hair turns black and his rings start glowing extremely bright as his eyes open and they are completely black with light blue iris's and he grabs corvis' wrist)
Corvis: what?...(the energy absorbs back into tenebris)...no, how are you... (tries to increase the density crushing everyone else but tenebris stands up like normal holding up corvis arm) (corvis slices tenebris arm and brakes free, but tenebris regenerates almost instantly ) how is that possible...(Tenebris disappears and reappears behind corvis and tries to stab him with his hand but Corvis swings his sword to block it. tenebris snaps it with his hand and corvis jumps back) I don't know what's going on with you, but I will take that black energy if its the last thing I do! (he charges at tenebris and his arms gets covered by dark red energy as he punches tenebris relentlessly until tenebris grabs his hand and punches him in the stomach knocking the wind out of him and he kicks him into a building but corvis flips and lands standing sideways on the building and tenebris dashes and punches the building destroying the walls as Corvis runs acrost it he touches the building and jumps and puts his hands together and the building wraps around tenebris crushing him but he destroys it with a massive burst of black and light blue energy)
Corvis: (thinking) (dodging tenebris) My gravity has no effect on him at all, the fields still up, everyone's still down, except him. who is this guy?
Magi: (struggling against the gravity ) what's going on with tenebris?
Arthor: (same) I don't know, it's like something snapped.
Sol: whatever's happening its not good. (thinking) I'm not sensing any orku from him, so then where is all that power coming from. If I could use all my energy to get my mask I could get everyone out of here, but if I drop my field arthor and magi would be crushed. (her eyes light up pink and she tries to reach her mask)
Corvis: ( trades blows with tenebris but is taking significant damage, and tenebris isn't) AHHHH! (sends a massive burst of energy out crushing the ground beneath everyone, including tenebris who is still standing and Sol who gets crushed but she maintains the field on arthor and magi)
Sol: (thinking) I don't know how much longer I can keep this up.
Tenebris: AGGHH! (his voice is almost demonic and has a whispery echo underneath it) (slowly walks towards corvis with the ground breaking with each step and his rings glowing extremely bright)
Corvis: Why wont your die! (he slams the ground and chunks of debris fly up and he sends them flying super fast at tenebris who disappears and appears next to corvis and attacks him but corvis holds him back with his gravity field but tenebris keeps pushing through it, with his rings getting brighter and one cracks and dark power burst from tenebris arm and he grabs corvis by the throat. Cancelling Enda Allt releasing everyone from the gravity field.
Sol: ah, (her eyes stop glowing) is everyone alright?
Magi: yeah
Arthor: I think so.
Sol: Good, get all the legionaries still left out of here
Arthor: Im not going to run. This is my fight!
Sol: (looks back at him with her eyes blazing red)
Arthor: Alright, Ill fight from back there I guess.
(Sol grabs her mask and they run and grab all the legionaries and help them up and start running)
Sol: (puts down three legionaries and looks back at tenebris who is choaking Corvis) Tenebris!
Tenebris: (closing his grip)
Corvis: (pulls out his pistol and goes to shoots tenebris point blank but he crushes corvis wrist.) aghh, you son...of a...(his eyes glow red but tenebris choaks him harder and his eyes stop glowing)
Sol: (light pink burst from under her feet. and she grabs Corvis from tenebris and sets him down and puts handcuffs on him) what are you doing, our plan was to capture them not kill them!
Tenebris: (looks at her with a blank lifeless stare)
Sol: Tenebris what's going...(tenebris goes to attack Sol)
CHAPTER 32 CRUSHING PRESSURE
(tenebris Attacks Sol but she blocks and gets sent back a bit) hey im on your side! (tenebris flies in again and goes to punch her but she turns invisible and moves as he slams down the ground cracks and she uncloaks)
(Cepheus wakes up and gets up and see corvis on the ground and tenebris attacking Sol)
Cepheus: captain! (he runs over and tries to wake him up. He brakes the handcuffs) Corvis, come on!
Corvis: agh...where is he?
Cepheus: captain we have to go while their distracted.
Corvis: no...I need...the power, I felt it...
Cepheus: your in no condition to fight! we need to get the others and go.
Corvis: (throws him off as he gets up and staggers a bit) this is my only chance (clearly injured his eyes light up again.)
Cepheus: No, we have to go!
Corvis: Then leave! I am your captain, and your are the crew, what I say goes, and if your not with me then your against me!
Cepheus: then, you can get yourself killed, we're getting out of here. (he leaves and runs over to the other pirates)
(Tenebris is following Sol everywhere and attacking her as she defends her self never attacking back)
Sol: your not yourself, tenebris. calm down!
(corvis eyes light up and he jumps in to the battle, he tries to grab tenebris arm but tenebris kicks his hand and sol grabs onto tenebris and puts a handcuff on his unbandaged arm but gets punched away into a building)
(Corvis dodges tenebris as he swings wildly cracking the ground and corvis touches all the rubble that flies up from where tenebris slams down and keeps backstepping until tenebris punches him with his bandaged hand and he blocks it with his arm but it brakes his arm sending him back as he catches himself his eyes flash red and tenebris looks up and sees all the ruble come flying down on top of him )
Corvis: yes! (tenebris comes flying out of the smoke towards corvis) (corvis eyes flash for a second but then stop) (Thinking) Im out of orku. (he tries to run but tenebris grabs him and slams him into the ground, corvis coughs up blood)
Tenebris: (raises his hand to land the finishing blow and Sol uncloaks and grabs his arm)
Sol: Tenebris Stop!
(he tries to overpower sol and his hand slowly starts coming down)
(Sol's eyes start glowing and she starts pulling him off corvis)
(Tenebris, looks at her and swings around sending her into the wall of the building next to them) he goes to attack her again but Arthor runs in and tackles him through a window into building)
Sol: Arthor!?
Arthor: aghh. (he gets up slowly) Tenebris, what's going on!?
Tenebris: (gets up and looks at Arthor with that blank expression)
Arthor: why are you attacking Sol? its over you won, you can stop fighting!
Tenebris: Ka...Kane? (he starts walking slowly towards arthor)
Arthor: (he starts backing up) what? no It's me Arthor. Tenebris snap out of it.
Tenebris: (his eyes turn back to normal) Arthor wha...whats goin...(he blacks out and falls down and his hair turns back to white.)
Arthor: Tenebris!? (he runs over)
Tenebris: (on the ground his rings stop glowing,one of his rings is cracked and split)
CHAPTER 33 THE LIGHT OF ELVO
(the chapter opens with a black screen)
Magi and arthor (who sound like their under water) Tenebris!
Sol: (same thing) get away from him!
Skye: (same thing) Tenebris, we have to get out of here...
Marx: (same thing) Erit no!
Alex: Tenebris where are you!?
Tenebris: (wakes up on a beach with grey sand under a dark grey sky, color almost non existent. He looks out over the Black water that goes on for infinity) where am I?
Man: this is somewhere no living human should ever go.
Tenebris: (turns around and sees the man in his dreams) you...wait, I was in the middle of fighting, I have to go back! Take me back!
Man: I cant do that...
Tenebris: what do you mean you cant do that!?
Man: I cant, only you can...
Tenebris: Don't mess with me.
Man: I'm not messing with you, im telling you the truth.
Tenebris: Fine then tell me how I can get back, they need me.
Man: you have to let go.
Tenebris: of what?
Man: of that. (points to his bandaged arm)
Tenebris: yeah, sure I'll just let go of the uncurable disease that is actively trying to kill me.
Man: it's not the physical that healing.
Tenebris: what are you talking about? you literally just pointed to my arm. "Hough" thanks for being completely useless as usual.
Man: Im trying to help you! but you wont accept it.
Tenebris: Help me? Every time you show up the bad stuff has already happened. how is that helping!?
Man: maybe if you listen to me something bad wouldn't happen.
Tenebris: really? because I was doing just fine before all of this started happening. before Taresseus, before Barrok, before Renna. Before I lost...(looks at his rings and one is cracked)...(his eyes start watering). Im tired...I've lived for so long...I've lost so much, why cant it just end. why cant I just close my eyes and never have to open them again. why didn't I die with the rest of them? (falls to the ground)
Man: You think I don't know what you've been through? I've been by your side every step of the way, every fight, every scar you have, every sleepless night. I've seen it all...and yet your still here. you still have people that care for you. you have so much to fight for. The creators not done with you. so don't give up, I know it's hard...not everyone makes it to the other side. but don't you dare think for one moment that your not important...or that no one cares about you.
Tenebris: who are you?
Man: my name is Kane (tenebris eyes go wide) (he looks back at him and he's changed to look like he did at the beginning of the story)
Kane: it's good to finally see you again. (smiles at tenebris)
Tenebris: Wait! (Everything shines with a bright blue light)
(tenebris wakes up suddenly with arthor, and blackheart looking over him. )
Arthor: Tenebris!
Tenebris: Arthor? what happened?
Arthor: you really need to stop blacking out man.
Tenebris: where's the dead stars?
Blackheart: their all in custody, that pink haired legionary brought you in. said you were lost it and nearly destroyed half the village.
Tenebris: I did?
Arthor: yeah, you went crazy. your eyes went black and you started attacking everyone. you beat the shiii...(tenebris looks at him)..Crap out of their captain.
Tenebris: (sits up looks down and he has handcuffs on) what's this?
Sol: malmite handcuffs. (walks into the room) I was told that your condition was connected to your Orku, so I figured if I can stop some of that power you might calm down a bit. worked more than I though it would.
Tenebris: So im assuming your the one who put these on me?
Sol: Yes...AHH...I mean, I needed to...I didn't do it for any other reason...but your better now so you can take them off...AH...I mean I can take them off...you...if you want.
Magi: I really don't understand how you become so cool when your fighting but are normally like this.
Tenebris: yes, you could take them off now, I'm think I'm doing alright.
Sol: Yeah, yeah...cool let me just (she drops the key)...Ahh!...(grabs it and walks over to tenebris and unlocks his handcuffs)
Tenebris: Thanks you very much, I owe you my life again.
Sol: dont thank me, it was Arthor that snapped you out of whatever was going on.
Tenebris: Really? (he looks at arthor and he looks away) so, did you get any information about where karri is?
Sol: Corvis used more energy then he had in the fight. he needs to regain his Orku in a healing pool in Renna. and the rest wouldn't tell us anything, im sure when we get back to Renna and their trials are through they'll be willing to talk.
Arthor: so we did all of this for nothing.
Tenebris: I mean, we stopped the dead star pirates, I wouldn't say that's nothing.
Arthor: if they don't have information about karri, this was for nothing.
Sol: Our repair team has already been contacted to send supplies to Barrok. we were just waiting on you...I mean...that sounded mean...I was just saying we couldn't leave because you passed out...AHH that's even worse...I mean...
Tenebris: I get it, but I'm doing better now, we need to leave as soon as possible. (tries to get up but falls and blackheart and Arthor catch him)
Sol: you still have many injuries, you need to be still.
Tenebris: sorry, but no. if karri's still out there we need to find him.
Sol: we will find him, but they're are more important things.
Arthor: Yeah, exactly what a legionary would say.
Magi: Excuse me? who disobeyed direct orders and almost jeopardized the entire mission by running into the battle field?
Arthor: you guys are the ones that let him use that End all or whatever you called it
Sol: Enda Allt
Arthor: whatever, if it wasn't for me, who knows what would've happened. you should be thanking me.
Tenebris: Arthor stop. the fact of the matter is they helped us, you should be appreciative of that. without them, we would never have gotten this far.
Sol: we will be on the ship, join me...AHH...us, I meant us...when your ready. yeah bye. (goes out the door with magi)
Blackheart: I've got work to do. (she walks out)
Arthor: they want us to go back to Renna with them, to give a personal report.
Tenebris: then that's what we'll do.
Arthor: what about finding karri?
Tenebris: we'll find him, but so far this is the only lead we have.
Arthor: then what are we waiting for.
CHAPTER 34 BEYOND LOSS
(Tenebris and Arthor are on the dock talking with Blackheart)
Blackheart: I Cannot thank you enough, for saving barrok
Tenebris: I really wouldn't say I saved it (looks at the destroyed houses and buildings)
Blackheart: listen, you not only save barrok, you saved everywhere those pirates had their hands on, if that cost a few buildings that's a price Im willing to pay.
Tenebris: well when you put it like that. I'll take it.
Blackheart: and Arthor, I know you'll find karri. Im sure he's out there fighting to find you guys too.
Arthor: thanks for that...and believing in me.
Blackheart: now unless your going to help put this town back together I suggest you get going.
(tenebris and arthor walk aboard the legionary ship and set sail in the morning)
(at night tenebris is leaning against the rail)
Sol: we should be back to Renna in 2 days.
Tenebris: any word?
Sol: none, those pirates are tough to crack. Can I ask a question.
Tenebris: depends what its about.
Sol: what happened to you that gave you that power. it's not orku, or anda, its something darker.
Tenebris: I've been trying to get an answer to that question too. I don't know how much longer I can go on with this. who knows what would happen if I loose control again.
Sol: your an interesting man tenebris. there's so many mysteries about you.
Tenebris: thank you.
Sol: AhHH...for what?
Tenebris: for everything, you risked a lot trusting a man like me.
Sol: it worked out though...didn't it?
Tenebris: yeah...yeah, it all worked out.
Sol: (sees him holding the broken ring) I don't know what your story is, or what the heck you even are, but I feel like your doing something important. I'm just glad I got to be apart of it.
Tenebris: well you'd be the first.
Sol: I don't think im the last though. I'll put in my report to the captain that you were an important part of our victory, but I wont mention what actually happened.
Tenebris: but you'd be lying to a superior.
Sol: If it wasn't for you a lot of my crew wouldn't be here. we've all agreed to not report this...think of it as a seal of appreciation. (she walks away)
Tenebris: "Hough" what have I gotten myself into. (he looks up at the stars and walks away)
(cut to arthor sneaking around the ship, he sneaks around the guards on the lower deck and makes his way to the brig, he sneaks into door right behind the guards switching and cuts the key ring off a guards belt and unlocks the door leading to Corvis cell, he walks in and sees Corvis asleep locked in chains on his legs and neck with bandages on his arms. Arthor kicks him)
Arthor: (mask on) get up.
Corvis: Agh...I dont have any infor...wait, who are you? your not a legionary, what are you doing here?
Arthor: I'm asking the questions here, (takes out his knife) where's karri?
Corvis: (Starts laughing) do you really think, I am going to tell you anything? I haven't told those damn legionaries a thing, what makes them think a kid is going to change things.
Arthor: Don't get me confused I want nothing to do with those legionaries. If you have any information on my brother your going to tell me.
Corvis: I got nothing for you.
Arthor: really...(puts his knife to his throat)...unlike those military dogs im not above killing you where you stand.
Corvis: then do it, if you..(arthor stabs him in the arm)..AGHH...
Arthor: Tell me what you know about my brother.
Corvis: Agh, I told you already I don't know anything about this karri.
Arthor: you really think I believe that? a week ago, you sent pirates down to the Brennandi passage, to kidnap karri, where did they take him?
Corvis: why would I send some down there..(arthor twist the blade)..AGGGHHH!...none of the dead star pirates go past the Elvinian archipelago. if your brother was kidnaped there, it wasn't my crew. even if it was, they would've killed him on the spot.
Arthor: Fine (takes the knife out of his arm)
Corvis: AGHhh...agh...
Arthor: thanks for the information. you wont say a word of this to anyone. your lucky I don't kill you now. (kicks him in the head knocking him out) (he wipes the blood from his blade and starts walking out with his eyes dark red.)
